The snow started at our house on Wednesday, December 17th at about noon and stopped around 9:30 that night. I measured 6 1/2 inches, however I don't have any experience with measuring snow fall, so I may be off an inch or so. Mack and I went out to play in it around 4 pm and lasted until 4:20... we don't own snow gloves, so our hands were hurting pretty quickly.

He held this snowball for about 10 seconds before he started to whine because of cold hands. I then let him know that he was allowed to throw it - and he did.

Tasting the snow. Later on, throughout the evening I ate about 4 cereal bowl fulls of snow. I've been craving ice lately.
Our front yard around 9 pm.I realized with this snow fall how much I love living here, where it hardly ever snows, and usually when it does, it melts before it starts to pile up. It was really beautiful, but I was glad to see it go.

By the way, I was craving ice in a major way and a few other things. After a dr appt, I had really low iron. It was so low that the doc was considering a blood transfusion. After lots of pills and vitamins, I am no longer anemic and now I don't crave the ice and other crazy things. Maybe you should start taking iron or check with a doctor. Just a thought.

I can't say that I blame you for loving your snowless wonder world. I really love to have a snowy Christmas, but come Jan. 1st I'm ready for spring.

Shelly I did not know you guys went to Cancun for your honeymoon. I LOVE cancun! I keep telling Kolby we need to go, so...we should all plan a trip after the babies are born and get as many of us as we can and go! It would be so much fun!
