I want to record, before I forget! I've been meaning to do this for about two weeks and wanted to put some pictures up, but the pictures take so long to load that I haven't made time for it yet. So, they'll have to make it into a later post.
MACK:
-He recently learned to say "please". Although he says it "pwease," and gives a sweet little smile when he does. He's been saying "thank you" for a long time, but took a little longer with "please" for some reason. It's so fun to hear him saying so many new words and phrases each day. One that really cracks me up is when he puts his finger up on his chin and says "hmmm, let's see..."
-For his birthday back in April, he got these little Elmo and Ernie figurines that came with a little boat from my brother Kayden and his wife Stephanie. He carries the Elmo and Ernie with him and plays with them all the time. In fact, he takes them to bed with him most nights. Funny thing is, he doesn't really like to watch Sesame Street anymore. He was really loving Backyardigans a month or so ago, but lately he mostly asks for Blues Clues or the Lilo & Stitch television series (neither is on the air anymore, so he watches reruns).
-He is loving having little brother Jonas around. Most mornings the boys get up at about the same time. So, I go in and get Mack up first because he loves to go in and get Jonas. He always wants to get in his crib with him and hang out while I pick out their clothes for the day, and he doesn't like it when Jonas has to go down for a nap (although, he gets over it really quickly). He loves to give Jonas hugs and kisses, and is pretty good about sharing his toys. I've almost got him trained on finding a toy to trade with Jonas if Jonas has one that he wants (which happens many, many times during the day).
-He's just starting to have an opinion about what he wears each day. A coworker of Gregg's kindly gave us some hand-me-down clothes that her boys had grown out of, and Mack is loving all his new clothes. He doesn't want to wear any of his old clothes anymore.
JONAS:
-I can't believe Jo Jo is only a week away from being 5 months old. Time is going by so fast. He learned to roll from his tummy to his back about 2 months ago (a few days before he turned 3 months old). I think he learned that one so quick because he has been a tummy sleeper. Two weeks ago, he figured out how to roll from his back to his tummy, and will roll around and play on the floor for short periods of time.
-We already got the walker out for him, but not because we thought he'd know how to use it properly. He loves to just stand up in it so that he can see what Mack is doing.
-He has been quite ornery yesterday and today, because he has a tooth breaking through on the bottom! I'm going to do my best to get a picture of that cute little tooth. Gregg and I were talking, and we don't really remember Mack having trouble with teething. I was thinking about it and came to the conclusion that Mack was just kind of an ornery baby, so we didn't really notice if one day was a little worse than the others! That's probably why I don't have any pictures of Mack's teeth coming in.
-He laughs quite a bit, and we have some great videos of him doing it, however I'm having a hard time figuring out how to get them posted to the blog. I'll work on it for the next post.
-We will be starting him on rice cereal on Monday - wish us luck!
We sure love our two little guys. I keep telling Gregg there's going to be at least one more baby (not for at least a few years), but he's not to keen on the idea. I think I can get him to come around though.

Randy wasn't keen on the idea of having any after Noah! That is funny. They always give in!
Teeth are horrid!!! I can't believe he is getting old enough to be getting teeth! Time goes by so quickly....
Austin said thank you before please too! He would never ask please, he would say thank you until he got it. Boys are fun!
After Kyna, Charlie always said he was done and I always wanted one more..just the other day I said "wouldn't it be nice to have a little boy?" and he decided he would like to have one more. I think alot of guys say they are done after 2 but deep down they want another one.
Give him time... I think there is a little girl up there waiting to come down, and wrap her daddy all around her finger. Jared is telling me now that he knows #3 is a boy, he can be done... but I don't feel done yet, so that is the end of that :-) It was fun catching up on your blog, and seeing how those adorable boys of your are developing, and growing up. We can't wait to see you guys in a few weeks. It will be nice to get away and do something fun. We haven't taken the kids swimming at all this summer besides their other grandma's hot tub, so Im wanting to do that... except for the fact that I don't have a maternity swim suit... hope my belly doesn't offend anyone. Anyways, we'll chat soon!
