Fleeing the crime scene.Jonas is pretty much feeding himself now. I love and hate this transition. I love that I can just put him in his highchair, put some food in front of him, and he's good to go. However, I hate the all-over-messes after every meal.

Success!Jonas has been taking a few steps here and there. He loves to hear us cheer for him when he gets brave enough to take a step. Here are a few words he's learned recently:

Buh (he's trying to say 'book').
Mack is just as fun as ever. Lately he's been doing a bit better with not being so rough with Jonas. So, instead of tackling or steam rolling him, he'll just go up and give him a big squeeze, which still makes Jonas really angry, but it's progress, right? Mack is loving board games right now. He doesn't know how to play any of them, he just likes to get all the pieces out and scatter everything around. He also has been playing outside in our backyard almost every day. All that's back there is dirt, but he manages to have a great time anyway. I'm excited to get a swing set and some grass back there -- he'll really love it then. He really is a sweet boy, and always obliges when Mommy wants a hug. What more could I ask for?

Funny you say that, Ashley, about the shower curtain. I always hope someone will say something about it because I got it for $4 at K-Mart, and I'm really proud of that for some reason. I actually love it, too. Usually I'll get something because it's cheap, but not really love it (case in point, my family room curtains).
So, Allison, how do you know my mailman? Just stay away from him, ok?! HE'S MINE!

I was going to agree with Allison's comment! haha not about the mailman, but about how much Jonas and Mack are starting to resemble each other. Now that you say that about the shower curtain I have to go back and check it out.
